THE G-CHRONICLES: My Favorite @Instagram Photos Of 2012 (Pt. 1)

Waddie at Inferno

Waddie at Inferno

I joined the Instagram craze in May 2012 trying to figure out how I will stay on top of all these social media outlets at once to keep in touch with friends, family and The G-List Society supporters.  In no time, I became hooked to showing off the vacations, delectable dishes, celebrity run-ins, local excursions and good times with friends to the few hundred people that follow me on Instagram.  I also enjoyed perusing through my friend’s and Instagram followers’ galleries too.

Here are some of my favorite captured moments, in chronological order, via Instagram throughout 2012.  Some of these moments were shared with friends including Lonnell Williams, Laban King and Devin Norwood. I was also glad to receive well-wishes from notable LGBT personalities including Anthony Antoine, D.J. Baker, Eric E. Jones, Gyant, Marck Angel, Rita Lee and Q. Hudson.  Read the captions on the side of each photos to understand the experience I embraced during those moments.

The G-List Society traveled to Atlanta, GA to attend one of the country’s most anticipated annual events of 2012.  5Friends4Life Annual White Party brought in thousands of revelers donning their finest white attire to celebrate the summer and reunions of friends to carry on.  Waddie G. got to party the night away with his dear friends Rod Watkins and Lonnell Williams (3LWTV) and many other luminaries including co-host Warren Huntley.

Set inside a huge loft filled with fine art and meticulous decor, Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery served as home to the White Party.  With a plethora of sponsors including Nationwide, sections of sponsors and vendors greeted guest at almost every turn with fine jewelry, vacation getaways and spa services to entice new customers.  The gallery’s largest space served as a dance floor that house hundreds of dancing people to the sounds of house music, stepping tune, hip-hop hits and dance tracks by celebrated divas including Whitney Houston, Rihanna and Beyonce.  The secluded VIP area is greeted by the most chiseled and scantily-clad male models that caused passers-by to pause at each direction of entry and exiting.  Delicious snacks surrounded the tasty looking men who models in revealing white swimwear that accentuated their best “ass”ets.  The large venue house many activities for one who to enjoy whichever his/her heart desires while checking out the beautiful revelers and reuniting with old acquaintances.

This was our first visit to the White Party, and we will return for the Black Party later this year and the White Party in 2013.

3LWTV Takes Over Inferno Puerto Rico; Muy Caliente Weekend!!!

3LWTV - Inferno Puerto Rico2

We keep up with our friend Lonnell Williams at 3LWTV because he takes us to all the wonderful festivities around the world, and his excursions during the Memorial weekend were no different.  3LWTV hopscotched from Miami to Puerto Rico over the weekend to attend the celebration of Inferno Puerto Rico, the Memorial weekend getaway provided by CEO Will Williams who also hosts Inferno Dominican Republic during Labor Day weekend.

3LWTV host Lonnell interviewed Will Williams about some of the fascinating records that this excursion has broken.  Inferno PR celebrates itself as hosting the single largest party in the country’s history.  Also, it takes pride into being the first official LGBT event to take over public beaches.  In other words, Inferno PR looks like a mainstay.

You really need no explanation from us to see why Inferno PR looks like a fantasy coming alive.  The beautiful beaches, fun-filled events and beautiful people, along with the country’s rich culture makes an experience that we will enjoy in 2013.    Press play below.

Did you catch the tea?  There are additional Inferno destinations coming soon.  Stay tuned for those details.

BREAKING NEWS: One Of Brandon White’s “Gay Hate Crime” Attackers Is Gay???

Brandon White

Thanks to our friend Will Williams for sending us this tip.

In February 2012, millions across the globe have seen the viral video of a beating that took place in Atlanta where 20 year old Brandon White was brutally attacked by a group of men while homophobic slurs were thrown at him.  Of course, that urged LGBT leaders, especially people of color, to bring international attention to the crime as it quickly seemed to be an open-and-shut case of a hate crime.  Until today…one of the arrested attackers have stepped up to admit that he is also gay; thus create a major twist in this case.  Can this attacked still be considered a hate crime when one of the attackers is gay?  According to that attacker, he attacked White in fear of being outed by the victim.

By the way, the state of Georgia does not favor hate crimes as an offense as most of the U.S. states do.

Regardless, whether gay man vs. gay man can be debated as a hate, an attack is still a crime.  While we understand the fear of being outed by someone, violence is not the way to deal with it especially when one is stupid enough to record and brag about it without understanding harsh consequences are set to follow.
