The G-List Society joined over 200 celebrators at the illustrious U.S. Presidential Inaugural celebration at the Warren Huntley hosted “En Cirque Noir: Inaugural 2013 Celebration” inside Washington DC’s lofty Lost Society lounge. The exclusive affair drew many notables and personalities in the LGBT community from all over the U.S. and allies.
The snazzy affair contained a live band, of its singer whom we caught singing a stirring rendition of Tamar Braxton’s “Love & War,” champagne toasts, two floors of mingling and dancing and friends celebrating in the spirit of American progression.
We were very fortunate to run into the likes of Nathan Hale Williams, Reese Brown, J.R. Rolley, Jai Laurence, J. Omar Tutler, Antar Wright and Neko Bunch. As always, it was great to chum it up with these great people.
We got great scoop in the midst of our mingling. Fresh from a breath-taking trip in Dominican Republic, travel guru/philanthropist Laurence Pinckney gushed about a trip he is looking to host there. We saw photos of the dwelling out there, and those photos look like the kind of paradise we would love to luxuriate. Pop singer Marck Angel was excited to announce his new single right before he leaked the single’s cover. We look forward to playing the follow-up to his smash hit and music video “Deep.” We even had a nice discussion about how much the LGBT music scene has progressed in recent years. Veteran R&B crooner Anthony Antoine revealed to us that a new single and music video is on the horizon. ”Finding Me” web series producer Jared Paul Shuler announced new episodes and an impending relationship with us at The G-List Society. That is awesome news. Isn’t it?
Enough talk about all the excitement in the gala. Check out the photos for yourself.
