MUSIC VIDEO: Nhojj Turns “Amazing Grace” Into A Soulful Gem About Gay Marriage

Nhojj

Award-winning singer/songwriter Nhojj captured fan adoration once again with his soulful, bluesy take on the gospel standard “Amazing Grace.”  His stripped rendition gives off the vibe of your favorite neo-soul singer performing his/her own acoustic version in an intimate setting.  His controlled vocals with the light harmonizing background chimes brings the “sweet the sound” out of the classic.

If you think the “Amazing Grace” soulful remake will was the only creative boundary surpassed Nhojj, you are in for a surprise.  He pulls the unthinkable that challenges Lady Gaga’s and Madonna’s envelope-pushing tactics.  The singer shoots a music for his remake to celebrate a gay commitment ceremony within an interracial relationship.  The story line and imagery are quite tasteful and emotional for fans to cherish; yet, one can expect Bible-toting extremists to commit Nhojj’s groundbreaking artistic expression.

Check out the music video below.

The video was directed by filmmaker Kirk Shannon-Butts.
