THE G-SOUNDZ: “Standing” by Kaoz (featuring J’Fuzion)

Kaoz (4)

We might say this until we can breathe no more.  If you do not have a favorite gay rapper right now, Kaoz is your man.  If your favorite gay rapper is not Kaoz, then your tastes are substandard.  Feel free to challenge us.

Once again, we continue to sing the praises of the Minneapolis emcee as he dropped a new tune titled “Standing,” and the song is a banger on every level.  The production, by songwriter/producer J’Fuzion, boasts that stellar, thumping, melodic hip-hop sound that competes with a Kanye West beat.  Catch the 1983 classic Elton John hit “I’m Still Standing” sample.  It is soooooooooo dope.  And Kaoz???  That man delivered killer flows again, which it is a shame that many people would assume that he is not gay because his wordplay is on par with the best mainstream or the most celebrate underground rappers.

Peep our favorite lines from the third verse.

“Last but not least
gay men ain’t the beast.
So, that shit needs to cease.
Who else in society is beating for the streets
for their choice on who to love or which genital to eat?”
