2012 has been a huge year for talented LGBT musicians in the hip-hop and R&B genres. Many of our talents have really stepped up their game with recordings that could rival today’s mainstream divas and crooners. The G-List Society could not be any more prouder than the efforts and releases that have been shared with us in 2012.
Thus, The G-List Society unveils our list of the 25 Hottest Tunes By LGBT R&B/Hip-Hop Artists Of 2012. It is time that you become familiar with these names as you will see more of them on here. We support our own LGBT musicians. We encourage you to do the same.
Check out this new music video “Omega” by electro-soul singer Damien Nova. Coming from his album of the same name, the song features Ohio hip-hop artist Long Shaw. Get ready to see a tripped out music video the matches the sound of the song. It’s weird, but we love it.
Check out the new music “Heartbeat” by electro R&B artist DAJ. The Atlanta resident released this hauntingly sexy ballad with visual that equate the tune’s character. Electric. Sensual. Harrowing. Tripped out. Simplistic. We love it.
DAJ is one of the artists we recently discovered that we cannot get enough of at The G-List Society. Get into him.
Thanks to our friend, electro-soul singer Damien Nova, we have been turned onto a new artist that we have fallen in love with. Get into R&B artist DAJ. His music is what we define as “revolutionary R&B” music — no shade to Usher’s ill-fated attempts.
The Atlanta resident released an EP titled “Planet.” The four-song set mashes up the genre of soul, ambient, electronica and modern R&B with plenty of soul. We enjoy the pulsating conversational jams “Heartbeat” and “We R Not Alone” but we are even more intrigued by the well-written tune “Tortoise & The Hare.”
Check out the great talents of this singer/songwriter. We hope to feature more of DAJ on The G-List.
