The Blanche Devereaux in us loves thick brothas.  We cannot lie.  When we heard that there will be Big Boy Pride coming up this spring, we had to announce it here.  Bump what people say about no fats.  If a brotha has some meat in the right places with a nice shape, he can get it too!

The fellas of Big Boy Pride leaked pics from the photoshoot promoting their pride weekend.  All we see in these photos are a bunch of hotness.  They need to e-mail us more.  We’ll share with you when we stop salvating.

In its first full month of news, The G-List Society thanks you for coming to this blog and checking out our new stories that we post daily.  We are very surprised to receive more than 2900 hits on average per day this month with the little promotion we have done so far.  We are more than eager to see the viewership increasing with the hopes that you make this blog party of your daily source of reading entertainment.

With that said, each month, we will announce our ten most popular stories that attracted readers like to The G-List Society.  (Drum roll, please.)  Here are the top ten posts that debuted in January 2012.

Critically acclaimed movie writer/producer Patrik-Ian Polk amassed a large following over the years for his works in TV and film, including the iconic “Noah’s Arc” TV and film franchise. Once Polk announced a release date for his upcoming film “The Skinny,” fans took notice to eagerly anticipate the film’s release.

9. HOT PIX: LGBT Media & YouTube Personalities Unite In Atlanta (1200+ hits)

Atlanta’s MLK weekend parties always become the most eventful time of the winter season, and it is no surprise to us that many viewers wanted to check out photos of those who hung out in the chocolate city.  Many of our favorite online personalities congregated for a jolly time and were nice to share a few photos with us.

People are planning their weekend travels for 2012, and the new Big Boy Pride weekend is one of those excursions that is making a heavy buzz in the LGBT community.  Check out all the activities this group will produce at their inaugural event.

Fashion designer and reality-TV star Indashio caused quite a buzz during his episode of the new hit TV series “24 Hour Catwalk.”  The young talent’s antics and creative had many viewers and critics talking and keeping him on radar.

6. The Skorpion Gives Nicki Minaj’s “Stupid Hoe” Video A Scathing Review (2300+ hits)

YouTube personality Skorpion has tens of thousands of fans that check out his daily commentaries on what is going on in Hollywood and urban pop culture.  When the much hyped and heavy criticized music video “Stupid Hoe” (by rap star Nicki Minaj) debuted, many people did not withhold their opinions including Skorpion.

5. Blatino Model Disses & Categorizes Black & Latino Men In 3LWTV Interview (2600+ hits)

When giving interviews, it is always ideal to quickly edit your thoughts before they come out of your mouth.  Unfortunately, former TV model Zeric Toda of the cancelled “Model City” on BET Centric did not get the message despite once have a career in the industry.  When Toda decided to ignorantly categorize Blacks and Latinos as messy queens who cannot maintain relationships, the public sounded off.  In true fashion of utter ignorance, Toda couldn’t handle the criticism.

4. HOT PIX: Jarwin Washington Celebrates B’Day With Friends In ATL (2700+ hits)

Atlanta’s party socialite Jarwin Washington saw many friends and hundreds of well-wishers coming out to celebrate his birthday all weekend long during Atlanta’s MLK weekend. We told promoters that providing photos from events will garner much more attention for our readers to check out future event invitations.  Washington took notice, and the photos from his events quickly became a hot topic on The G-List.

3. Rapper J.R. Continues Hip-Hop Feud With Rappers By Exposing Nude Photos (2800+ hits)

Chicago rapper J.R. – the King of Gay Music continued his reputation as a feuding bad boy among LGBT hip-hop artists.  While calling out LGBT media and music producers in his latest video rant, his biggest target was New York rapper LastO which resulted in the airing out of a photo that finds LastO in a comprising positioning.  Ouch!

2. HOT PIX: Who’s Who ATL Brings Sexiness To MLK Weekend Parties (3000+ hits)

Who’s Who ATL celebrated MLK Weekend in a major way.  Hundreds of revelers flocked to their events, and a good time was had everywhere they went.  Their photos quickly became a hit on The G-List as well.

1. Inferno DR Launches 2012 Campaign Featuring “Mermen” (3000+ hits)

Inferno Domincian Republic weekend is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, and it is no surprise that the unveiling of its 2012 models would cause major traffic coming to The G-List.  Timothy Felder, Stanley Etoty and company modeling in a very sultry and most creative photoshoot we have seen for a LGBT event in such a long time.  We think you would agree.

We are so glad that we can finally post an event where the flyer features people who are not necessarily a chiseled-body hunk or a half-naked beauty.  We are not throwing shade to all our promoter friends.  We are celebrating the diversity of our LGBT people and are happy to represent men of a body type that is not as publicly idolized.

Get into this new pride weekend titled “Big Boy Pride.”

Big Boy Pride-The Movement was born out of a need in the big boy community. All of the other events for big boys and their supporters to attend are attached to other pride weekends or holiday weekends. The men in the big boy community, as well their admirers are so special that we deserve a weekend that is all our own – created just for us, by us and completely about us. During Spring Fling 2011, Jay Torrence and Tony Brown recognized the magnitude of what had developed among the men in attendance and believed that the experience needed to be taken to the next level. Thus, Big Boy Pride-The Movement was born.

Big Boy Pride-The Movement is a four day event presented to foster the empowerment and togetherness of same gender loving larger men and those who support them.

Big Boy Pride-The Movement is about brotherhood, self love and awareness, relationship building and elevating consciousness in the community. There will be pool parties, live entertainment. and lots of fun activities. We will present relevant seminars to heighten education on health issues, activities that will foster camaraderie and events that cultivate togetherness and pride in self and the collective big boy community.

The four day event will take place at Parliament House-Orlando, FL Thursday, March 29-Monday, April 2, 2012
