Our promoting friends at Inspired By Beats, along with Traxx Atlanta, announced the return of their Tribal Thursdays in Atlanta starting this week. This is great news for lovers of house music now that spring has sprung, and the city’s weather will welcome revelers to come out and have fun all night.

sanjuanbrothas (now Rubaiyat-SXM) was the first annual summer destination for gay men of color that took revelers outside of the United States to the lovely island of Puerto Rico. Instead of bringing you back to the island you have become familiar with, the men of Rubaiyat-SXM now takes us to the blissful island of St. Maarten and its neighbors Anguilla and St. Barths.

Our friends at Inspired By Beats brought house music back into the social scene of the southern chocolate city, and they are now hosting house music parties at Feature nightclub every Friday night. With DJ’s Be and Harry Chronic spinning the latest and greatest joints that we love, house music fans can find a place to delight in the happiest and most carefree sounds in music.

Our friends at the non-profit organization Al Sura will be celebrating their annual black attire affair party on Saturday, February 23 titled “Al Sura In Black: Let Freedom Ring.” Having drawn hundreds of people at last year’s “Al Sura In Black” affair, expect hundreds more to convene in DC for this event in the spirit of fun and raising the awareness of the organization’s mission of providing funding towards HIV/AIDS research.
