THE G-POD: “1996” by Kamau Kenyette (featuring Paul Toweh & Nikko Sherard)

I am really excited about New York R&B/hip-hop artist Kamau Kenyette and the music he has to offer this year.  As he prepares for his debut EP titled World Domination and his twice appearance at the SXSW music festival this weekend, Kenyette drops this trap-N-B gem titled “1996.”  This bass-heavy slow-bounce groove boasts sexy raps and delectable crooning by Kenyette and his collaborators Paul Toweh and Nikko Sherard.

I have played this song at least ten times this morning already.
