Los Angeles Black Pride Receives Honor By City Council

As the leaders of the Los Angeles Black Pride organization gears up for its 4th of July weekend festivities, LA City Councilman Bill Rosendahl honored the Pride organization at the second annual L.A. LGBT Heritage Ceremony inside City Hall on Friday. Vice President Michael Flowers and Board member Marcus Smith gave remarks on behalf of the organization. They expressed their gratitude of being accepted at such a high magnitude and openly by the city. The organization has been one of the longest standing initiatives that serve the LGBT people of color.
